Stearic Acid

Stearic Acid is obtained from fats and oils by the saponification of the triglycerides using hot water (about 100 °C). The resulting mixture is then distilled. It’s a wax-like solid that is either white or colorless and has a bit of an unpleasant smell

It is widely used in the manufacturing of candles, cosmetics, polymer plastic agents, release agents, surfactants, rubber vulcanization accelerators, polishers, metal soaps, mineral flotation agents, pharmaceuticals and any other organic chemicals Widely used to produce cosmetics.
